Control IP and browser/user-agent storage.
Store submitter IP address
Controls whether DoorFall Forms stores the submitter IP with responses.
Reasons you may choose to enable it:
- Abuse prevention
- Rate limiting context
- One submission per IP
- Security review
Reasons to disable it:
- You do not need the information
- Your privacy policy/workflow is designed to minimize stored metadata
Store browser / user agent
Controls whether browser/user-agent information is stored.
This can be useful for diagnostics but is not necessary for every installation.
IMPORTANTThe site owner is responsible for the privacy notice and data practices appropriate to the installation and jurisdiction.
One submission per IP
If a form uses this feature, Store submitter IP address must be enabled.
