How to use Date, Time, Date & time, Name, Address and File upload.
Date
Use for calendar dates.
Examples:
- Preferred date
- Birthday
- Event date
- Deadline
Time
Use for a time of day.
Examples:
- Preferred appointment time
- Arrival time
Date & time
Use when both a date and time are required in one field.
Name
Use for a person's name.
This is preferable to a generic text field when the answer represents a person's name.
Address
Use for postal/location address information.
Address uses a larger multi-line control suitable for complete addresses.
File upload
Use when a visitor needs to attach a file.
Examples:
- Resume
- Screenshot
- Brief
- Document
Max file size (MB)
Choose a value from 1 to 20 MB.
IMPORTANTThe field setting cannot override a lower PHP/hosting upload limit. If a 20 MB field still rejects a large file, check server
upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.Uploaded files are stored in storage/uploads and are associated with their submissions.
