SMTP host

Hostname of the outgoing mail server.

Example:

smtp.example.com

Port

Use the port supplied by the provider.

Common examples:

• 587 with TLS
• 465 with SSL

Use the provider's documented values.

Encryption

Choose:

• TLS
• SSL
• None

From email

Sender address used by DoorFall Forms.

Use an address permitted by the SMTP account/provider.

SMTP username

Authentication username.

Often the complete email address, but follow the provider's instructions.

SMTP password

Authentication password.

When a password is already stored, leave the field blank if you want to keep the current saved value.

Save first

Save the SMTP settings before sending a test.

Send test to

Enter an email address you can access and click Send test email.

Do not enable important live notification workflows until the test email is received successfully.
