Builder Overview
Understand the Builder workspace and its main controls.
Builder purpose
Builder is the main form-design workspace.
It contains:
- Add Fields
- Form canvas
- Field settings
- Form design
- Form behavior
- Multi-Step settings when applicable
- Conversational settings when applicable
- Availability
- Rate limiting
- Turnstile
- Password protection
- Notifications
- Webhooks
- Embed restrictions
Add fields
Click a field type or drag it into the form.
Reorder fields
Use the drag handle on an existing field to move it.
Select a field
Click a field on the form canvas to open its settings.
Save
Click Save form to persist the current form definition and settings.
Unsaved changes warning
If you change the form and attempt to leave Builder before saving, DoorFall Forms warns that the latest changes have not been saved.
After a successful save, the warning is cleared.
Builder actions
Submissions
Opens responses associated with the current form.
Publish
Opens direct-link, inline-embed and popup publishing tools.
Open live form
Available for Active forms and opens the real public form.
Preview
Opens a test preview.
NOTEPreview activity does not count in Analytics.
