Refund Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
DoorFall sells downloadable software and digital software licenses. This policy explains when you may request a refund and what happens to a DoorFall license after a refund.
1. Merchant of Record
DoorFall software payments may be processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the payment transaction, applicable transaction taxes and payment-related refund processing. Refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible and may take additional time to appear depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
2. Before purchasing
Please review the product description, live demo where available, documentation, server requirements, license scope and compatibility information before purchasing. If you are unsure whether a DoorFall product is suitable for your environment, contact contact@doorfall.com before purchase.
3. Refund requests
If there is a material problem with a purchased DoorFall product, please contact DoorFall and describe the issue. Examples may include a product that cannot be delivered, a materially defective download, a product that materially differs from its advertised description, or another situation where a refund is required by applicable law.
DoorFall may first offer reasonable troubleshooting, a corrected download, or another appropriate solution where this can resolve the problem promptly.
4. Digital delivery and change-of-mind requests
Because DoorFall products are digital software that can be made available for immediate download and licensing, change-of-mind refund rights may differ from those for physical goods. Where applicable consumer law requires your express consent to immediate digital delivery and acknowledgment concerning a statutory withdrawal right, those legal requirements apply. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
A refund is not automatically guaranteed merely because you no longer need the software, changed your mind after receiving access, purchased by mistake after the product and price were clearly presented, lack a compatible hosting environment that was stated in the requirements, or made unsupported modifications that caused the product to stop working. DoorFall and Paddle will nevertheless handle requests in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
5. Duplicate and unauthorized transactions
If you believe you were charged more than once for the same intended purchase, or that a transaction was unauthorized, contact DoorFall promptly at contact@doorfall.com. Payment-related disputes may also be handled through Paddle as Merchant of Record.
6. Effect of a full refund
When a full refund is approved, the associated DoorFall order is marked refunded and the related software license and download entitlement may be revoked. You must stop using the refunded software and must not continue to activate, distribute or use copies obtained under the refunded license. DoorFall retains historical order and license records where reasonably necessary for accounting, support, fraud prevention and legal purposes.
7. Partial refunds
If a partial refund is approved, the effect on the license depends on the reason and terms of that adjustment. Unless DoorFall states otherwise, a partial refund does not automatically revoke an otherwise valid license.
8. Chargebacks and payment reversals
If a payment is charged back, reversed or determined to be fraudulent, DoorFall may suspend or revoke the associated license and download access while the payment status is unresolved or after the reversal is confirmed.
9. How to request help or a refund
Contact contact@doorfall.com and include the email address used for your DoorFall account, the product name, and your DoorFall order number if available. Do not send payment-card details or passwords by email.
10. Mandatory consumer rights
This policy is intended to operate alongside applicable consumer-protection law. If the law that applies to your purchase gives you rights that cannot be waived or limited by contract, those rights take precedence over any inconsistent part of this policy.
