Disable and Uninstall Modules
Difference between disabling and uninstalling and the protections around module removal.
Disable
Use Disable when you want to stop using a module but keep the installed module files and stored data.
Uninstall
Uninstall is intended for installed add-on modules, not the bundled modules supplied as part of DoorFall Desk.
Before uninstalling
The add-on must be disabled.
Dependencies
If another installed module depends on the add-on, DoorFall Desk blocks uninstall until the dependency is resolved.
Database data
Uninstall removes the add-on files and module registry entry but intentionally leaves module database data intact.
IMPORTANTLeaving database data protects against accidental data loss, but you should still back up the database before changing production modules.
