Cannot Install DoorFall Desk

Database connection fails

Verify Database host, port, name, username and password with the hosting provider.

Database is not empty

For a clean first installation, use an empty database.

Tables are partly created

An interrupted installer can leave tables behind. Follow the installer error shown and use the supported retry behavior where available rather than randomly editing tables.

File permission problem

Confirm PHP can write to the configuration/runtime directories required by installation.

License activation fails

Confirm:

• the key is a DoorFall Desk DFD- key
• the domain is correct
• HTTPS/network/DNS can reach the DoorFall license service
• the key is not already activated on another domain

Blank/error page

Check the server PHP error log and confirm the server meets the PHP version/extension requirements.
