Security & Logs

The Security area provides the controls and logs available in the current DoorFall Start Page Script version, including protections around login activity, IP controls/rate limiting and administrative activity where configured.

Good practices

• Use a strong unique Admin password.
• Keep PHP and the server maintained.
• Use HTTPS.
• Review unusual login activity.
• Back up before major changes.
• Never share database or SMTP credentials in public.

Example review

If you see repeated failed login attempts from the same source, review the available IP/rate-limiting controls before taking action. Avoid blocking your own administrator address accidentally.

Admin activity

Administrative logs can help explain when important settings were changed. This is useful when more than one administrator has access.
