Adding & Configuring Widgets

How users add widgets and change widget settings.

Adding a widget

  1. Sign in.
  2. Open the widget picker/add-widget control.
  3. Choose an available widget.
  4. Complete its settings if required.
  5. Save.

Editing

Open the widget's settings/control and change the available fields. Each widget has its own configuration.

Availability

Administrators can control widget availability. If a widget described in this manual is not available on a particular installation, the site administrator may have disabled it.

Example

To add Weather, open the widget picker, choose Weather, enter a city such as Oslo, choose Celsius or Fahrenheit, and save.

Some widgets need no configuration at all. For example, Calculator can be added and used immediately.

TIPIf a widget is missing from the picker, check with the site administrator. Widget availability can be controlled globally.
