How DoorFall Start Page Script Licensing Works
Understand the one-license-key, one-active-domain licensing model.
License key requirement
A valid DoorFall license key is required to install DoorFall Start Page Script.
One domain at a time
One license key is licensed to one domain at a time.
Verification
DoorFall may verify licensing in the background. An already activated installation is designed so temporary DoorFall.com, DoorFall, DNS or network outages do not disable the customer's website merely because a verification service is temporarily unreachable.
Admin status
The Admin licensing page shows the current license status and provides the supported license-management actions.
DoorFall license key
DoorFall Start Page Script uses a DoorFall-issued license key. A key normally begins with DFSP-, for example DFSP-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
The example is only a format illustration and cannot be activated.
One active domain
One license key may be active on one domain at a time. The active domain is recorded by DoorFall's licensing service.
Outage-safe verification
The script may verify the license silently in the background. A temporary DoorFall.com, DNS, network or internet outage does not disable an already activated customer website. The frontend, user accounts and widgets continue working normally.
Where to find the key
Customers can view their issued product licenses from their DoorFall customer account. The Admin License page in the installed script shows the activation status for that installation.
